Mint-Licious Shake

This shake isn't just in celebration of St. Patty's day. Drink it whenever you want! The whole fam will love it.


~ I love to do my grocery shopping at a few different stores. The majority of my shopping is done at Aldi. Their prices and quality are fantastic! And you can't not love the aisle of randomness. Need a new laundry basket? Barbie doll? Exercise bike? Any-who, I also go to Trader Joes and Wegmans, which is our local grocery store. And of course the random Target and Walmart run. So you will see a variety of different brands in my posts.

Ingredients:


- 1/4 cup of cashews

- 4 dates, pitted - 1 banana

- 1 scoop of a green powder supplement.

* Greens powders are dietary supplements that you can mix into water and other liquids. They typically contain leafy greens, spinach, kale, collards, parsley, seaweed, spirulina, chlorella, dulse, kelp. Others have greens and fruit mixed together

- 1 tsp of vanilla

- 2-4 (depending on how minty you like it) drops of mint extract or peppermint essential oil that is consumable.

*Not every essential oil can be consumed. If you are unfamiliar with this, then stick with mint extract.

- 1-2 tbs of cacao nibs

- 1-2 cups of unsweetened almond milk (depending on how thick you like your shakes

How to:

1. In a nutra bullet or blender, pulverize ONLY the cashews into a powder

2. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until creamy

*If you like more of a thick shake but don't want to add more milk, you can add ice

3. Transfer into a mason jar, or 2

4. SCARF THAT SHAKE!
